Use Tab to move between controls, then use the keys below.

Move to the next or previous control.

Change a focused slider or number field.

Open the Intro or Lab mode from the mode screen.

M

Return to the mode selection screen.

R

Reset the active mode.

P

Play or pause the simulation.

Esc

Close a menu or dialog, or leave full screen.

To move a body with the keyboard, focus its position fields in the Bodies panel and edit the values. Velocity fields set the speed directly.

Turn on "Predicted path" to preview an orbit while paused, "Energy & momentum" to watch conservation, and use the menu to save a screenshot or the data as CSV.

Explore gravitational attraction between bodies. Change mass, position and velocity, then watch how the orbits respond. Systems with three or more bodies can become chaotic.

An original Pandai learning simulation. Physics uses custom astronomy units (mass in 10²⁸ kg, distance in AU, velocity in km/s, time in years).
